वर्तमान में India (भारत) को दुनिया की सबसे आशाजनक उभरती अर्थव्यवस्था माना जा रहा है। 7‑8% GDP growth के साथ देश विश्व की तीसरी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बनने की ओर बढ़ रहा है। लेकिन नौकरी निर्माण अभी आर्थिक प्रगति के समान गति से नहीं हो पा रहा है।

‘Make in India’ अभियान से manufacturing को गति मिलने की उम्मीद है, जिससे रोजगार पैदा करने में मदद मिलेगी। पिछले 6‑7 वर्षों में अधिकांश नई नौकरियां services sector में बनी हैं। IT और Banking सेक्टर नौकरियों के सबसे बड़े स्रोत रहे हैं।

बैंकिंग रोजगार के अवसर – Job Opportunities

आने वाले वर्षों में बैंकों से बड़ी संख्या में भर्ती की उम्मीद है। भारत अभी भी underbanked देश है और बैंकिंग सेवाओं की मांग तेजी से बढ़ रही है। Dynamic Economy में Banking Services की जरूरत बढ़ती है और manpower की मांग भी बढ़ती है।

IBPS Selection Process

Public Sector Banks में भर्ती के लिए चयन प्रक्रिया Organized और Structured है। पहले अलग‑अलग Boards थे पर अब IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) केंद्रीय एजेंसी के रूप में काम करता है।

Probationary Officers (PO)

• स्नातक पास उम्मीदवार आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
• Preliminary: 100 Questions | 1 Hour | English 30, Quantitative 35, Reasoning 35
• Main: 200 Questions | 2 Hours | Reasoning 50, Quantitative 50, English 40, GA 40, Computer 20

Clerks

• Graduate candidates eligible।
• Preliminary: English 30, Numerical Ability 35, Reasoning 35
• Main: 200 Questions | Reasoning 40, English 40, Quantitative 40, GA 40, Computer 40

Exam Pattern Highlights

Officers और Clerks के टेस्ट में प्रश्न समान प्रकार के होते हैं, पर Officers के प्रश्न थोड़े कठिन होते हैं। Negative Marking भी लागू होता है (-0.25 per wrong answer).

Preparation Tips (तैयारी के सुझाव)

• Reasoning: Puzzles, sequences, logical problems.
• English Language: Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary practice.
• Quantitative Aptitude: Arithmetic, BODMAS, algebra & geometry.
• General Awareness: Economy, Banking, Current Affairs.
• Computer Knowledge: Basics of hardware/software, Internet, MS Office.

Interview Preparation

Officers के लिए Interview होता है। सवाल सामान्यत: Banking, Economy, Current Happenings, आपका Background, Strengths/Weaknesses, और Job Expectations पे आधारित होते हैं। Clerical cadre के लिए अब Interview नहीं लिया जाता — Selection सिर्फ Written Score से होता है।
